About Us
In 2002, Waupaca Rod and Classic was founded by a small group of friends over dinner one night. Our goal was to create a show that would be fun while raising money for our community at the same time. The first car show was a huge success, with nearly 300 vehicles on display. Since then, the show has slowly grown to almost 400 vehicles. We are a non-profit organization that donates money to various charities throughout our local communities. In 2011, we created a scholarship to be given to a student attending Waupaca High School that is pursuing thier degree in the automotive industry. Each year we also donate money to the Waupaca County Sheriff's K-9 Unit to help with the care of the dogs, and to the Waupaca Food Pantry to help some of the local families in need.
Our club currently has about 50 members and holds the annual car show, complete with vendor displays, at South Park in Waupaca. South Park, which overlooks beautiful Shadow Lake, has a beach with life guards on duty, and is located just off of Highway 10 in Waupaca, Wisconsin. We're always looking for new members and you do not even have to own a car to join.
Our mission is to create a family oriented car show for everyone to enjoy, and to help those in need.
